My First match as Captain....

Here we go...my first blog about my Cricket Match, I played with my Team...
Somehow i always feel that i should lead a cricket team and the dream came true when i met my good,obedient friends - Mani, Ramanan, Prasanna..we started as 5 members team, used to play in Ramakrishna school grounds against our Deadly opponents of Kamaal Team..One good thing i learnt was to bring all the people in to ground and made them to play....almost all the weekends we used to play, except if that school watchman asks for bribe / osi dhum...
when we developed a good team, we started participating in Tournaments..
some of our good achievements: we entered the Finals in Railway Colony Tournament and lost against one team named Sussex(Its not an English SUSSEX Team)..Though it was a good match, we lost it....but we developed a Good Team spirit and many seniors were interested to join our team...As a team we were motivated to participate in another tournament near Omalur, a place called Muthunayakanpatty -- this tournament was same as like Chennai28 matches..Commentary, Huge Prize money, Initial Handshakes of Captains with Local Counsellor...It was altogether good fun, even in this tournament we lost in Finals..we came a long way from 32 teams to last 2 teams...we got the Prize money worth of some 1000rs, which was equally shared among ourselves in the form of Treat in Hotel...my uncle Krishnan is a Great Motivation to me, though he doesn't like bowl to me - i need to mention it here....)
Even my family members - my Cousins,Uncles love playing cricket in between their busy Gossiping / creating and spreading rumours....;) one thing i have to Accept is i was not a great player, but i am a good fan of cricket..
Cricket really helped me in getting some good friends..
Lets see, whether i lead a team here in county soon.......
